Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of dumpbustersuk.com. By submitting a quote request or creating a tradesperson account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What we do

DampBusters UK is a matching service. We collect homeowner enquiries and pass them to vetted, paying damp and pest-control specialists. We are not a party to the contract between you and any tradesperson, and the work itself is performed solely by the chosen tradesperson under their own terms.

3. For homeowners

• The service is free for homeowners.
• You must give accurate contact and property details.
• We do not guarantee the work of any tradesperson — always check credentials, insurance and quotes carefully.

4. For tradespeople

• Leads are sold on a per-enquiry basis. The price is shown before purchase.
• Bad-lead refunds: if a lead has invalid contact details, is out of area, or is a duplicate, you may report it within 14 days for a full refund subject to review.
• You must hold any required certifications (PCA, BPCA, etc.) and valid public liability insurance.
• We may suspend accounts for repeat complaints, misrepresentation, or breach of these terms.

5. Payments

Lead purchases are processed by Stripe. All prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable. A VAT invoice is available on request.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for the work, acts or omissions of any tradesperson.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
